If not covered: Sessions are $125 and paid privately. I provide superbills so you can seek out-of-network reimbursement from your insurer. Call the number on the back of your card and ask what your plan covers for out-of-network outpatient mental health, and whether there is a deductible to meet first.
Superbill: A superbill is an itemized receipt for the sessions you have paid for, with the diagnostic and procedure codes insurers need. You submit it to your plan yourself, and if you have out-of-network benefits, they reimburse you directly for a portion of what you paid.

All sessions are virtual. I am licensed in New York, which means I can work with you wherever you are located in the state, including from a dorm room, an office, or home.
Virtual also tends to help with exposure work, since we can do it in the environment where the fear actually lives.

Adolescents, young adults and adults. Much of my work is with teens and young adults, though I see clients well beyond that range. I offer individual, couples, parenting and family sessions.

My main goal is to get to know you not just the symptoms that brought you in, but your history and what has actually been going on in your life. I take my time here rather than rushing into technique. I will ask questions, but there is room for things to unfold naturally, and you are never pressured to share more than you are ready to. By the end, we usually have a clearer sense of what is bringing you in and a rough sense of where we might start.
